Pricing

Start with a sample. Scale if it works.

Every production is different, so pricing depends on footage volume, format, complexity, deadline and the level of detail required. The best starting point is a small paid pilot.

What affects price

Why every job is different.

These are the factors that shape the scope and cost of a logging job. If you are not sure, send a brief and we will work it out together.

Hours of footage

Total volume is the biggest driver. More footage means more time, even with AI assistance.

Number of speakers

Multiple speakers in interviews requires more editorial attention and accurate speaker identification.

Audio quality

Poor or noisy audio slows transcription accuracy and requires more human review.

Number of cameras

Multi-camera shoots produce more media to review, even when scenes overlap.

Required detail

A basic selects log is faster than a full story-notes document with editorial analysis.

Turnaround

Rush jobs can usually be accommodated — but tight deadlines affect cost and scheduling.

Delivery format

Standard formats (Google Doc, CSV) are included. Custom formats may add a small overhead.

Proxies vs. originals

Proxies are faster and cheaper to handle. Originals are fine but may affect turnaround.

The easiest way to know the cost is to send a brief.

Tell us what you are working with and we will come back with a scope, turnaround and quote within one business day.
